Our Mission
Human Kindness Foundation promotes spirituality, mindfulness, and wellness for people experiencing incarceration and their families. We provide an ongoing supportive presence and create a sense of loving community for those in the midst of disconnection and isolation.

Experiential Wisdom
Difficult experiences often lead to the greatest wisdom; people experiencing incarceration can be profound wisdom teachers. We seek to help incarcerated people find the space, sense and structure they need to turn difficult experiences into wisdom to help themselves and others.
Individual and Collective Liberation
No one is free until we’re all free. We are all doing time whether we are behind bars or in prisons of our own creation. Recognizing and activating the inner beauty and innate goodness that lies within each of us is key to our individual and collective liberation.
